Who Are We?

Rotarians are members of Rotary clubs in communities across the world, which belong to the global association Rotary International (RI). Each club elects its own officers and enjoys considerable autonomy within the framework of Rotary’s constitution and by-laws.

The Rotary Club of Hudson was founded in 1930, 25 years after the very first Rotary club in 1905. Hudson Rotary, (Club #3542) is a group of men and women who are joined together by a common interest in service to their own local community - a sincere desire to give back.

Our club is made up of more than 55 members. Through immense membership participation we have provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to help raise awareness for Polio and participate in dozens of service projects each year to help people on both a local and international level.

Service Focus/Get Involved

The Rotary Club of Hudson offers a variety of opportunities for you to contribute your talents, expertise and perspective to enact positive change in the greater Hudson area and beyond.

The Rotary Club of Hudson has funded a scholarship program for students in the Hudson School District since 1951. Additionally, Our Club participates in Rotary’s Four-Way Test Speech Contest by hosting a speech competition for area high school students who are afforded a chance at cash prizes and to proceed to a district level.

Avenues of Service

The four Avenues of Service, based on the Object of Rotary, are Rotary’s philosophical cornerstone and foundation on which club activity is based: Club Service focuses on strengthening fellowship and ensuring the effective functioning of the club Vocational Service encourages Rotarians to serve others through their vocations and to practice high ethical standards. Community Service covers the projects and activities the club undertakes to improve life in its community. International Service encompasses actions taken to expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach around the globe and to promote world understanding and peace.
