The Rotary Club of Hudson is excited to announce they have awarded six bright, talented, hardworking and adventurous young students each a $3,000 scholarship from the Robert G Hills Scholarship Fund.
The selection committee consisted of Ron Strobl, Kathryn Sines, and the late Dr. Dan Williams. The committee was very impressed by all candidates, and had a very difficult time making the selections. The students who are recipients of the scholarships are: Peyton Binns, Delaney DeGeronimo, Audrey Fuller, Andrew Hartline, Benjamin Parnell, and Caroline VonVille.

Delaney DeGeronimo, Andrew Hartline, Benjamin Parnell, and Caroline VonVille are all planning to attend the Ohio State University, while Peyton Binns plans to attend Ohio University and Audrey Fuller plans to attend Miami University.

At the Wednesday, May 11th Rotary meeting, all six students attended and were introduced by a teacher who had a meaningful influence on their life, except for Andrew Hartline who was introduced by his very proud older brother Blake who was also a former Hudson Rotary Scholar. Marty Hills, widow of Robert G Hills for whom this year's scholarship were named, was there in her finest to hear the tribute given by Ed Sogan. Robert and Marty Hills are among the founders of the Hudson Boosters Club, and they were instrumental in the building of Lavelle Field.

The Rotary Club is very proud of these and all graduating Hudson seniors, and wishes all of them the best of luck in their future endeavors. To learn more about the Rotary Club of Hudson, visit rotaryhudson.org.
