Friends of the Hudson Library and Historical Society

This week has been designated as National Friends of Libraries Week and Lynn Remly, PhD, President of the Friends of the Hudson Library and Historical Society will address us.  The Friends group is a very active collectrion  of 70 members with a core of about 30 volunteers who sort and stock the sale room off the front vestibule of the library.  In addition, there are four additional volunteers who facilitate sales of donations to third party vendors and directly to book buyers on Amazon.  We are on track to donate more than $35,000 to support the mission of our library.   All of it is driven by the wonderful donations received from the Commmunity and the hard work of our volunteers.
