This Wednesday, April 16th, we will be celebrating our 2024-2025 year of The Magic of Rotary. April will be focused on local Ohio Treasures. Thank you to Jim Lang for arranging our speakers.
The Cuyahoga Valley National Park has turned 50 years old! The CVNP is Ohio's only national park and encompasses 33,000 acres extending from southern Cuyahoga Country to Akron. Kathy Gottschalk will provide an overview of the growth of the park and new initiatives scheduled for this anniversary celebration year. We know it for the treasures it holds: Brandywie Falls, Blue Hen Falls, The Cuyahoga River, the Beaver Marsh, the Boston Mill Visitors Center, the Ritchie Ledges, Virginia Kendall Lake, winter sledding & tobogganing at Kendall Hills, the Canal Exploration Center, the tow path for biking and hiking. The list goes on and on.

...Congratulations to a very proud Ed and Mary Sogan! Their grandson, Gavin Ginther was outstanding in his role as Orpheus for the HHS Spring Musical: Hadestown this past weekend. It was a most impressive performance and has been nominated for several local awards to be given on May 17th at Playhouse Square.
...Gala Update: we are collecting $20 donations or a bottle of wine from Club Members to support a Wine Pull at the Gala in May. We are switching the Wine collection from a Raffle to an offering that allows every donation to result in the bottle of wine going home with the recipient. If you choose to make a cash donation, we can take advantage of bulk buying and ensure that we avoid duplicates.
