Rotary Club
of Hudson, Ohio

Volume 1 | Issue 4

Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin! Find out who our upcoming speakers are, what we covered during the last weekly meeting, and learn more about our fellow members.
Mark your calendars
Art on the Green will be this Saturday and Sunday (the 24th and 25th).  This is a great opportunity to work with your fellow Rotarians, and get to know them better - in a non-breakfast setting.  If you have any questions, contact Pat Scherer: patrick.scherer@scouting.org  or 330-773-0415.
Announcements
Our cluster, which is comprised of our club, Hudson Clocktower, Stow, Cuyahoga Falls and Northhampton, is sponsoring a project to support the Akron Battered Women's Shelter.  The original project, for security systems, is already underway, so the cluster will be considering a new project.  We will try to have a leader of the Shelter address the club at a future meeting.

Many of us have been proud of our Bob's Bikes program, in which our club receives and rehabilitates used bicycles, and distributes them to needy kids.  If your are interested in this program, please contact Tom Tobin or Marilyn Orr.
This week's speaker
Thanks to our Speakers Committee, Jane Goodman, Executive Director of Cuyahoga River Restoration (formerly Cuyahoga River Community Planning) will address out club. The mission of CRR is to restore and protect the environmental  quality of the Cuyahoga River, nearshore Lake Erie, and select Lake Erie tributary watersheds.
