This Wednesday, September 21st, we will continue our year of “Imagine Rotary”.

Thom Sheridan holds a Civil Enginerering Degree (P.E & P.S) from Youngstown State University.  He has been employed by the City of Hudson as a city engineer since February, 2008.  He assumed the duties of Assistant City Manager for Professional Services in January, 2017 and currently serves as City Manager.  Since January 6, 1958, the City of Hudson has operated under the Mayor-Council-Manager form of government. This form of government combines the political leadership of elected officials with the managerial experience of an appointed administrator. The Mayor and City Council comprise the representative branch and are elected by the voters. The City’s chief executive and administrative officer is the City Manager, who is appointed by the council to serve at its pleasure.

The HHS Service Learning Class will open our meeting with an introduction of new avenues for service available to students in 2022. Two teachers from the teaching team will be present as well as students Ellie Finkenthal and Emma Palmer.  Monthly during the school year, we receive updates about this award winning program and hear exciting and spirit rewarding experience of students involved in the program.  We have been sponsors and mentors with this program since its inception.

Last Week's Meeting

Republican State Senator Kristina Roegner and  Democratic candidate Dr. Patricia Goetz held a lively debate at our last meeting.
