This Wednesday, May 18th, we will be continuing our year of “Serving to Change Lives”.
This is the meeting you have all been waiting for.
This week six Hudson High School Seniors will be awarded the Hudson Rotary Robert G Hills Memorial Scholarship. Each student will also introduce a Teacher who was instrumental in their academic success. Joining us for this special meeting will be Mrs. Marty Hills and the families of our Scholarship Honorees. Our tradition continues.
Recap of our Last Meeting
Bob DiBiasio with the Cleveland Guardians was as entertaining as he always is. Thanks to Jim Lang for arranging his visit with us. Bob is always good for a story or two about the new players and fan favorites. This team is YOUNG. It is the 5th youngest in baseball history. They are bringing a lot of enthusiasm and energy to the game. And we have several potential stars in the making with Josh Naylor and Steven Kwan at the bat. We also had a history lesson about the name changes over the many years of the franchise. Bob has now been with this club for 43 years. He is truly a friend of our Rotary Club.
