Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin! Find out who our upcoming speakers are, and what our club is doing.
Mark your calendars
Our cluster of local Rotary clubs is organizing an outing to watch an Akron Rubber Ducks game on Sunday, August 4th. It is an afternoon game starting at 2:20. The ticket prices are just $7.00 per person. This is not a fundraiser - just an opportunity to have a fun afternoon with family, friends, and fellow Rotarians. If you are interested, please see Tom Tobin by July 25th.
We are fortunate to have Dr. Leonne Hudson, Associate Professor of History at Kent State University. He will tell us about "Reactions Upon the Death of Lincoln".
Thank you to Jim Ahern and the Speakers Committee for a great speaker last week. Chris Bach told us about his involvement in restoring Hudson's World War I Memorial Plaque. In the process we learned a lot about some Hudson residents and their connection to the war.
