Economic Development in Hudson

Jim Stifler a former financial services executive who is now applying extensive enterprise and technical sales experience to improve the economic fortunes of one of Ohio's great cities. His role is to seek out expanding businesses looking for their next home and also to retain the valuable base of employers already in our city.  His sales experience has been around a long term (2-3 year sales cycle) process and this is very similar to the economic development cycle.   On a daily basis, his role calls for interactions with City Planners, Architeects, Developers, CEO's, Founders, Commercial Realtors, Site Selectors, Government Agencies, Finance Authorities and Local Government Officials.  His job is to grow the Hudson Income Tax base.  He also provides business management oversight to Velocity Broadband and is a key member of tthe team working to develop Phase II of our historic Hudson Downtown.  Jim is also a mentor with JumpStart, the public/private business acceleration program that is now 2 decades strong.
