Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center

JANICE MATTEUCCI is currently the VP of Strategic Initiatives for the Conservancy for
Cuyahoga Valley National park. She was the COO of the Conservancy for 20 years,
involved building the infrastructure for the organization as well as business development
through social entrepreneurship.

Janice came to CVNP serving in the role of Associate Director for Cuyahoga Valley
Environmental Education Center from 1996 – 2002 where she managed all aspects of day-
to-day operations of the center and assisted in the development of the resident program
curriculum.

Previous work experience includes teaching at the Cleveland School of the Arts and
Shaker Hts. High School, Program Director of Young Audiences of Cleveland and as
Technical Director for the Abram Arts Center of the Henry Street Settlement House in New
York City.
