Assistant District Governor / Cluster Chair

Bob Oborn is the President of Kent Elastomer Products, a position he has held for eight years. Bob has been with the Company for 39 years. After serving as a Military Police Officer in the Army, and a brief stint as a security guard, Bob began working at the KEP.  He started as a general laborer, and over the years, worked his way to his current position.  He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Malone University in 1996 and his MBA from Kent State University in 2000, all while working full time and raising a family.  

A proud Rotarian, Bob served as the past President in the Rotary Club of Stow-Munroe Falls and served as District Co-Chair of Interact / Rotaract, the high school and college Rotary club equivalent.   He is currently an Assistant District Governor heading the North Summit county cluster of Rotary Clubs. In service to the community, Bob volunteers for Hero’s Day for Veterans, The Ronald McDonald House of Akron, Akron Food Bank, Kent Social Services, and others. 

Bob and his wife Annette have been married for 33 years and reside in Munroe Falls. They have two grown children, Allison and Patrick.
