What's New at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo?

Dr. Chris Kuhar, Executive Director of Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for the past 8 years has been employed by the Zoo for more than a dozen years.  Previously he was a Research Manager with Disney's Animal Kingdom.  He is a graduate of The University of Akron, Oklahoma State University and Georgia Institute of Technology.  He is also the current chair of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.  He leads a large institution with a focus on connecting people with wildlife by emphasizing excellence in animal care, increasing their positive conservation impact, creating impactful conservation educational opportunities, growing sustainable techniques and providing excellent guest services.  He writes a weekly blog for the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo website.
